Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse is the primary sexual assault and sexual abuse crisis and education service provider for Calgary and surrounding areas. We provide safe, accessible, professional services, for people of all races, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, or genders. Our 24-hour support and information line provides callers with emotional support, crisis intervention and access to resources including all of CCASA’s services: free individual counselling; group counselling (sliding scale fee); 24 hour hospital accompaniment; police and court education and support (P.A.C.E.S.); community outreach and public education.

The Distress Centre, in partnership with Calgary OutLink - Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity is offering the 1-877-OUT IS OK phone line. This line provides 24 hour support, information and referral to members of the GLBTQ community, their family, and their friends. Peer support is provided during select hours of the day.

Clinical Psychologist at the Calgary Health Region’s Sunridge
Community Mental Health Care Centre (Primary Mental Health Care).
His interests include the assessment and treatment of anxiety and
panic, stress, depression, and relationship difficulties.
He has a strong interest in sexual orientation issues and offers
sexual minority affirmative counselling for GLBTT
individuals. Services are available without cost to the individual.
Support services for people affected
with HIV / AIDS, an info line, counseling, referrals, support groups,
preventive education programs, a resource centre, speakers bureau,
Gay Men's Outreach Crew (GMOC), advocacy and public awareness.
Kids Help Phone provides counselling
services to young people between the ages of five and 20 and help
adults aged 21 and older find the counselling services they need.
We don't trace calls, we don't use
call display and we never call callers back.
Young people who contact Kids Help
Phone can speak with a professional counsellor over the phone or
online (through the “Ask a Counsellor” feature). They can also log
on to the website to: access information about a wide range of
subjects; read questions from other kids and benefit from the
counsellors' responses; express themselves by posting letters
written but never sent, telling their story or talk about good and
bad things in the "Fishheads and Flowers" section.

The Pride Centre of Edmonton offers free, drop in and by appointment
